Ellie & Tim got engaged on a hike up to Lord's Seat in the Lakes, and following a Google search of 'venues near us', found Browsholme! Here's what they had to say bout their day;
We chose Browsholme because of the location, beauty of the barn, how we imagined our day and how perfectly it would work there. We had a small short list of places we were considering but we always knew we wanted to have our day at Browsholme
How did you feel when you were walking down the aisle?
Ellie: Why hasn't he turned around and looked at me?!
Tim: I told my best man to tell me when she is walking down the aisle....he failed to tell me!
On the day, I felt overwhelmed with emotion and both so happy. All our guests said they had an amazing time and that the day felt very intimate and a lot of fun.
What was the best thing about your day?
Tim: When Ellie said I do.
Ellie: I couldn't say, all of it! A big sense of relief and joy after the vows
Advice for other couples in their planning stages? If one partner is a creative genius and the other is on Furlough and likes admin!

Red routemaster bus to collect the bulk of the guests who stayed at the Mytton Fold Hotel. Although we didn't see it but apparently it was great and we added a bucket of beers for the guests to have on the way up
