Emma & Sam shared their wedding story with us from , here’s what they had to say;

We looked at a lot of venues in Lancashire and none were quite right. As soon as we walked into the barn we could picture our wedding there, we loved the feeling of the barn, the lighting, the stone walls and the opportunity to make the barn our own.

The grounds and the view just made it. If we weren't persuaded already when we were told that the recommended caterers were twelve our decision was cemented, having eaten at their restaurant and knowing the exceptional standard of the food.

We loved the opportunity that we and our guests could stay at the venue and that the whole area would be ours with no interruption from anyone else.

The day flew by, but we felt so relaxed all day.

Rebecca and her team ensured that the day progressed seamlessly, we were not hassled or asked questions. If anything did go wrong we never knew. Rebecca liaised with all of the suppliers and so the feeling of the day was so relaxed and in no way regimented. All of the feedback from our guests has been so positive. The guests were blown away by the barn, the flowers, the food and they thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing evening with the fire pits

The best thing about the day was getting married, we had waited so long to finally be married and it was everything we imagined.

Do what makes you both happy and try not to give in to pressures of things you feel you 'should' do.

We were limited on numbers owing to Covid and we cut 70 people off our guest list. At the time I was really upset that a lot of our friends and extended family could not be there but now I am an advocate for a smaller wedding. We were able to talk to all of our guests, everyone had a front row seat for the speeches and everyone who was invited felt that they were part of an exclusive club.

When we booked our wedding we had no concept that we would have to postpone it twice. It was so overwhelming to have to postpone but Amanda was so supportive throughout the whole process and we cannot thank her enough for helping to make a very upsetting and stressful process as easy as possible.

Amanda called us after every announcement and kept us fully up to date with everything that they were doing. In troubling and uncertain times for everyone it was so reassuring to have her support.
