Siobhan & Mike got married by the Lily Pond this summer, and had a big and joyful wedding! Here's what they had to say about there day;

We were pretty set on a barn wedding and Browsholme was definitely the the one that caught our eye as soon as we saw the pictures. We loved the idea of the Pizza Oven and everything about the venue was beautiful. We had around 5 viewings booked, and as soon as we got home from our engagement trip we booked Browsholme as soon as we saw it - it was even better than the pictures. We also found out that day that the woodland glade would be completed in time for our wedding as it was important to us that key guests had somewhere to stay.

The day was amazing - we felt really comfortable and had a great time. All our guests absolutely loved it with one saying it "was like a film". Everyone commented on how lovely the venue was and also how amazing the food was throughout the day especially the Pizzas!

Walking down the aisle there was definitely a sense of relief but a lot of joy. The wedding was initially scheduled to take place in Church but the Lily pond was such an amazing part of our day to the point where we can't imagine it being any different. Again we appreciate the work involved to allow us to have it there with setting up chairs and driving the Bride/ Bridesmaids to the area.

The best thing was being able to see everyone in the same room again in what has felt like forever we couldn't stop smiling all day!

Advice?

I would definitely advise booking things and paying deposits as early as possible in the planning phase that way you know exactly what you have to pay when you start saving. Even though our wedding became stressful due to COVID a lot of pre planning was done way in advance meaning no last minute issues.
