The Tithe Barn
Restored in 2009, this historic barn is the perfect balance of tradition, rusticity and romance. The barn has beautiful authentic features, such as exposed stone, oak beams and flagstone floors which create a unique atmosphere and a setting for an unforgettable wedding. Latest design innovations in lighting, video, sound systems and catering facilities have been seamlessly integrated to provide a truly unique experience.

Outside the Tithe Barn lies our beautiful Courtyard, which provides a fantastic space for you and your guests to sit back and relax. Ideal to use for your reception drinks, our courtyard is a real sun trap in the summer - and catches the truly fantastic sunsets in the winter. Gather around our firepits in the evening with a drink in your hand whilst enjoying freshly made pizzas from our outdoor wood-fired pizza oven.

Not to forget the Bars! We have three bars on-site all situated in and around the Tithe Barn and Courtyard. The main bar is located in the Bottom Barn, the second is in the Upper Barn, and the third is outside for optional use on a nice day.
Tithe Barn and Courtyard Details
The Tithe Barn will accommodate 2 to 120 guests during the day; with further capacity for the evening party of up to 200. Your aspirations and dreams matter to us, but whatever you decide it will be arranged with great style and attention to detail.
The Barn can cater for civil ceremonies for up to 120 guests. The Mews Cottage next door of the Wendy House provides a perfect space for the bridal (or groomal!) party to get ready. All while being a short walk from the top of the ceremony room. During your reception drinks, the barn is rearranged behind closed doors by our efficient team in preparation for the wedding breakfast.
Our couples are encouraged to suggest their themes and colour co-ordination, decide on a choice of formal or informal service. Traditional or unusual food and bespoke menus will be offered to you by our exclusive caterers. Then decide on fine wines, beer and other beverages from our extensive list.
For entertainment at the reception you may like to consider garden games, a conjurer, vocalist or string or jazz quartet. In the evening we can recommend a range of popular live bands or DJ's to choose from, or just book your own favourite. Visit this page for a full list of our recommended suppliers.
