A gem set in the heart of the Forest of Bowland
Visitors are invited to relax and wander in unspoiled countryside, woodland, views to the distant Fells and a 3 acre lake. You can see the new restoration of the Lily Pond and the wilderness garden, originally created in 1711 in the design of a Union Jack. Here at Browsholme there is much to see, and dogs are welcome to!
Pop into our Tea Room
Come and try some of the best homemade fayre around in our Cart Shed Tea Room, all freshly cooked by our friendly team! The Tea Room is adjacent to the car park, serving cakes, scones, sandwiches and a weekly special - there's something for everyone to try, and we cater for dietaries too. All our food is sourced from local suppliers and businesses - with sustainability and community at the heart of what we do.

Take a tour of Browsholme Hall
Come and see the oldest family home in Lancashire, and hear about its history from one of our knowledgeable and friendly volunteer guides. You'll explore rooms laden with history, including the Library, Regency Drawing Room and Main Hall. Don't be afraid to ask questions, we love talking about all things Browsholme!

Wander around our Gardens
Take a breath of fresh air - and relax. Our gardens were historically designed to do exactly that, help those enjoying them to unwind. We've maintained that tradition, and the rounded borders of the flower beds, trickling streams and abundance of flora and fauna will certainly mean you can enjoy the English Countryside at its best.
